Social Society of Idle Hands, The official Mug Club of Idle Hands

New member sign ups for 2026 begin Sunday, December 7th, 2025 at 3pm. New memberships must be made in person in the Taproom. If any spots remain open after December 7th, they will be available on first come, first served basis until membership is fill.

Benefits:

20oz ceramic Maßkrug. Each mug will have a number that corresponds to your membership and you are free to decorate it with stickers, paint, etc to make it truly unique and reflective of your personality. Your mug will be proudly displayed behind the bar, waiting for you to drink out of it. This mug is yours to keep when you decide to leave the society.

We will fill your mug with whatever beer you want from our tap list at the same price as a full pour on the menu. In many cases, this means you will receive a 20oz pour at a 16oz price.

Other Benefits to include;

• Free admission for you and a guest to Oktoberfest

• A quarterly private party for Society members + 1 guest. This usually centers around a new beer

  release and will include free food (usually pizza).

• Social meet ups throughout the year which may include events like service days, guided hikes in

  the fells, field trips and other outings. Some of these events may require an additional cost to

  participate.

• First dibs + discounted entry to brewery events. The discount will be dependent upon our

  partners that we work with so we may not be able to offer one in each circumstance.

• $2 pretzels and grilled cheeses in our taproom all year long, max 2 per visit

• 10% off on all merchandise

• An exclusive “Social Society” t-shirt

• First right to renew membership for the following year
