Celebrate Valentine’s Day with an evening of laughs and spicy books, brought to you by Idle Hands Craft Ales, New Normal Comedy, and Read My Lips Boston. Whether you're single, partnered, rolling deep with friends, or just looking for a fun night out, this Valentine’s celebration is for anyone who loves comedy, books, or beer (or all three!).

Browsing diverse books and bookish merch at Read My Lips bookshop pop-up (note: this will be available to the public and does not require a ticket)

Hike 'n' Brew with the Friends!

About the hike: Join fellow Friends of the Fells members for a Sunday midday hike around the eastern portion of the Fells. We'll travel to Boojum Rock, catch some views of Boston, and enjoy being outside! After our hike, we'll head to Idle Hands to grab some well-deserved beers.
Parking is available at Flynn Rink. This route is also accessible via the 99 bus.
Please note there are steep elevations and rocky terrain on this route. There is no restroom at this site.

Candle-Making Workshop
Celebrate the season with a cozy December Candle-Making Workshop at Idle Hands Craft Ales! Whether you’re creating heartfelt holiday gifts or adding a warm glow to your winter nights, this creative evening pairs seasonal scents with the welcoming atmosphere of one of Malden’s favorite breweries.
🕯 Each participant will make two candles in tins or jars, or one in a dough bowl. Jar styles and scents may vary depending on availability.
✨ Theme: December — Think fresh pine, peppermint, cranberry, mulled cider, and cozy fireside aromas as you design your own soy wax candles inspired by the magic of the season.
👨👩👧 Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult.

• All sales are final – no refunds
• Exchanges available up to 7 days prior to the event for a workshop of equal or lesser value (no refund for price difference)
• Guests arriving more than 20 minutes late will not be admitted due to safety and process requirements
