2023 Bottom Feeder’s Information
Details and important information
Each year, new memberships for the Bottom Feeder Society are sold on site at the Malden taproom during the Annual Tree Lighting (with new member benefits effective Jan 1 through Dec 31 of the upcoming year). Gift Memberships will be processed along with all other New Memberships during the tree lighting in person on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 3pm on Sunday, December 4th 2022.
Each guest must be 21+ years old as of December 1, 2022 in order to purchase and participate in the Bottom Feeder Society for the year 2023. Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable. The Gift Recipient name on the Gift Membership is the only person eligible to participate in the membership. Draft pours are limited to lagers and German styles only, no exceptions. Opportunity to renew your membership for the next year may be based on program participation throughout the year. Any violation of the policy will result in revocation of Membership.

The 2023 benefits!
An exclusive 1 Liter ceramic Maßkrug which can only be obtained by being a member. Yours to keep, if you choose to leave the society.
$16 liter pours of any lager or German style (kolsch, etc) on tap at the Idle Hands Malden Taproom for the entire year.
Free admission for you and a guest to Oktoberfest
-Includes access to a members only lounge at the fest until 4pm (new for 2023)
A quarterly Bottom Feeders Society lager appreciation night for you and a guest
There will be four of these in 2023
First dibs + free entry to style appreciation talks throughout the year. This would be a brewery tour with a discussion on a particular beer style (new for 2023).
$2 pretzels and grilled cheeses in our taproom all year long, max 2 per visit
10% off on all merchandise (new for 2023).
First right to renew membership for the following year
At the heart of the society is an appreciation of lagers and indirectly German drinking traditions. As such, members will be the only ones permitted to purchase 1 Liter pours of beer at our Malden tap room to which we are limiting to lagers and German styles only. But don’t worry, we have plenty in store for our lager program for 2023 so there will be a variety to choose from including favorites Edgeworth, Emelyn, Klara, Heide, Brunhilda, and many more! Your mug will live at Idle Hands for the entire year. At the end of the year the mug is yours to keep, if you choose to not renew.
